If you are familiar with color-matching games on mobile, you might have played a game called Jelly Splash, which racked up a surprisingly high download record and became a top free-to-play game within a week after its release. Pudding Pop on Facebook is a game that plays exactly like Jelly Splash.
If you are just new to a game of this type, Pudding Pop is a color-matching game asking players to connect lines of three or more adjacent puddings of the same color. The longer the line you can connect, the more points you will collect in one move. Longer connections can yield powerful Super Puddings, which can destroy an entire row or column at once when it’s included in a connection.
As is the case with many other color-matching games, the initial levels of Pudding Pop are pretty basic and simple. You can complete these levels in several moves or at most a few attempts. But the difficulty ramps up fast as level goes up where target goals are much tougher to achieve.
The color-matching fun is overwhelming, however, there is something that may put a damper on it, that is, the occasionally inconvenient mouse controls. Sometimes it just would not react responsively like how finger controls do on a touch-screen device, especially when you’d like to change the line you’ve connected and redesign your moves.
