En Masse Entertainment today announced the official launch date for TERA: Rising, a free to play MMORPG transformed from the award-winning MMORPG TERA, which was previously priced at 49.99 USD per copy.
En Masse said in a press release on its website that they have deployed five new servers for players to choose from, two for PVP and three for PVE. Meanwhile the website said there are some limitations for new players on some chat channels. Area Chat is not longer available for new comers whose level is lower than level 5, Trade and LFG chat channels require players of level 12 or higher to access while the global chat channel is open for players of level 20 and higher.
While many old gamers may be concerned about the character transfers from the old server to the newly launched servers with new contents available, the operator EN Masse said characters in servers among Mount Tyrannas, Tempest Reach, and Celestial Hills can be transferred for free, but in a limited time, in this case, once every 30 days.
