Alpha build of Paradox’s magical MOBA now available through Steam Early Access.
An early access alpha of Paradox Interactive’s action-based MOBA game, Magicka: Wizard Wars, has gone live on Steam.
“The team is super excited to make the early Alpha available on Steam Early Access today,” Paradox wrote in an announcement. “After some pre-alpha activity under the radar. A huge thanks to the first sign-upees who participated, you are hereby officially relieved from the NDA.”
“The build you get access to is our first Alpha version, and we will continue to add features based on your feedback. We will also add more community focused features on the website to support an ongoing dialogue and voting on which way to go with the game.”
You can activate the game on Steam either by signing up with Paradox and waiting in line for a free invite code, or by purchasing one of Magicka: Wizard Wars’ founder’s packs and get instant access to the alpha.
Developed by Paradox North, Magicaka: Wizard Wars is a free-to-play MOBA that pits two teams of four wizards against each other. True to the Magicka formula, friendly fire is still in effect and players can combine magical elements on the fly to create hundreds of spell combinations with wildly varying effects.
