F2P shooter prepares for launch with one final beta phase.
Crytek and Trion Worlds have kicked off the final closed beta phase for their free-to-play military FPS Warface. The closed beta went live as of 9AM CET yesterday and will run until Monday, August 26 at 12AM CET.
“During this latest testing phase, we‘ll be conducting a series of short, action-packed playtests every week that we hope you‘ll be a part of,” Warface Executive Producer, Joshua Howard, wrote in an announcement. “After each of these playtests, your feedback on specific aspects of the gameplay will be gathered and put to work as we refine Warface even further.”
“With the wheels well and truly in motion for the game‘s upcoming launch, your contribution during this second Closed Beta period will be vital. Please note; in order to ensure a level playing field when Warface launches, character data built up during the Closed Beta will be wiped. ”
