New Sonic might hit Xbox One, PS4, Wii U in 2015

A new Sonic game is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U in 2015, if this promotional sign is correct.

The sign was on display at a toy fair in Nuremberg, Germany last week, where toy maker Jazwares was showcasing a line of Sonic toys. The sign was first posted to German website Spindash.de.

In addition to the 2015 Sonic game, the sign lists the recently released Sonic: Lost World for Wii U and 3DS and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games: Sochi 2014 for the Wii U. It’s also accurate in its description of the upcoming Sonic animated show, Sonic Boom.

Last year Nintendo announced it had entered a partnership with Sega to publish three Sonic games on the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, with the first two being Sonic: Lost World and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games: Sochi 2014. The third game has yet to be announced.

Last week, we reported that Warner Bros. pulled the plug on its DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins on the Wii U, prompting Nintendo to refund consumers who bought the game’s season pass.
