Panzer General Online Closed Beta Begins

Beta kicks off for Ubisoft’s latest Panzer General game.

Ubisoft has kicked off the closed beta test for another one of its browser-based online strategy games. This time it’s Panzer General Online, the new entry in Ubisoft’s long-running war game series Panzer General.

To get into the closed beta test, you’ll need to sign up for a Uplay account over at the official Panzer General Online site. Ubisoft will be sending out beta keys to lucky applicants via email, but you can also find beta keys at some media outlets like IncGamers.

Like The Settlers Online, Anno Online and Silent Hunter Online, Panzer General Online is also developed by Ubisoft Blue Byte. In the game, players take control of an army made of legendary units like Tiger Tank or Nebelwerfer Rocket Launcher. The game also has a trading card system where players can collect and trade virtual miniatures of tanks, infantry and artillery to create their own personalized army.
